The role
IPL is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead HR operations and partner with business leaders to support organizational growth, employee engagement, and operational excellence. This role serves as a key strategic partner, ensuring compliance with employment legislation while driving talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
The HR Manager will champion a high-performance culture, support change management initiatives, leverage HR analytics to drive decision-making, and help develop a strong talent pipeline to meet current and future business needs.
What You'll Do
Lead day-to-day HR operations and ensure consistent execution of HR processes and programs.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Support and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
Manage full-cycle talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning activities for hourly positions.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on employee relations, performance management, and organizational challenges.
Lead investigations and resolve complex employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Drive employee engagement, development, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
Utilize HR metrics, reporting, and analytics to identify trends and support data-driven decisions.
Support payroll, benefits administration, compliance audits, and HR operational excellence.
Partner with regional and global HR teams on transformation projects and strategic initiatives.
Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes, systems, and employee experience.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5-8 years of progressive HR experience, including 2-3 years in an HR leadership or management role.
Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and employee relations.
Experience with talent acquisition, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational development.
Proven ability to influence leaders, manage stakeholders, and drive business results through people strategies.
Experience with HRIS platforms
Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging HR data and metrics to support decision-making.
Experience supporting HR transformation, process improvement, or digital HR initiatives.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
Professional certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, CIPD) preferred.
Experience in a multinational or matrixed organization is a plus.
