The role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations and drive excellence in inventory management, logistics, safety, and team performance. This role is responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory control, shipping, material handling, and workforce management, while ensuring operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and material handling.

• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and effective inventory control processes.

• Monitor inventory levels and resolve discrepancies to minimize operational disruptions.

• Optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, and material flow to improve productivity and efficiency.

• Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, train, and develop warehouse team members to achieve performance, safety, and quality objectives.

• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.

• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.

• Support workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet operational demands.

Safety & Compliance

• Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety throughout the warehouse.

• Ensure compliance with all company policies, OSHA requirements, and warehouse safety regulations.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready facility.

• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Logistics & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Production, Procurement, Customer Service, and Sales teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements.

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities to support operational objectives.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve inventory, shipping, and service-related issues.

Continuous Improvement

• Analyze warehouse performance metrics and develop action plans to improve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity.

• Lead process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.

• Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, eliminate waste, improve inventory controls, and enhance operational performance.

• Drive both incremental improvements and larger-scale process redesign initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse operations experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.

• Experience managing inventory control systems and warehouse operations.

• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

• Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain operations.

• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and compliance requirements.

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships across teams.

Preferred

• Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field.

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume warehouse environments.

• Background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other Continuous Improvement methodologies.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
