As Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within our production and warehouse facilities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient production flow and ensuring timely delivery of materials to various departments. You will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.
*Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and transport materials.
*Supply production lines with raw materials and remove finished goods to designated storage areas. Perform daily equipment checks and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
*Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts. Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
*Assist with general production/warehouse duties as needed, including packaging, labeling, and organizing materials.
*Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow.
Qualifications & Experience
*High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
*Valid forklift operator certification/license required/ Forklift certifications – Counterbalance, Reach truck and PPT
* Minimum of 1–2 years of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
* Understanding of warehouse and/or production operations and safety procedures.
*Ability to operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, pallet jacks). Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
*Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking.
