Maintenance Technician I
Keep production running at IPL Schoeller through hands-on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across injection molding, robotics, conveyors, and plant equipment.

The role
In this role a Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance duties to support our manufacturing operations and facilities. This includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and record-keeping for injection molding machines and related equipment. Flexibility is essential, as this position may require on-call availability and will evolve to include supervisory responsibilities as the maintenance department grows.
Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3PM, on call as needed, weekends as needed

As a Maintenance Technician I at IPL you will:
Preventative Maintenance
Husky Injection Molding Machines
Light automation such as labeling, handling, gasket installation and pick and place robots
Offset Printers
Conveyors
General facilities
Maintenance & Repair
Assemble, disassemble, and maintain molds and mold subsystems (wire switches, air and cooling circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical components, etc.).
Diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
Repair/replace components (switches, sensors, controllers, circuit boards, etc.).
Utilize computer diagnostic programming equipment as needed.
Repair/replace piping for cooling towers and chilled water lines.
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
Use troubleshooting skills to improve and develop repeatable molding processes.
Investigate equipment deficiencies and recommend modification/improvements to the Operations Manager.
Implement approved modifications and/or improvements.
What you will bring to the role:
Husky injection molding machines experience.
Materials knowledge (plastics/metals).
Scientific molding methods experience
Basic knowledge of 5S procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in basic electrical and hydraulic systems.
Welding and fabrication skills.
Basic machine shop skills and tool experience
Working knowledge of machines, conveyors, and robotic operations.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Working knowledge of hydraulics and troubleshooting.
Intermediate knowledge of injection molding processing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
Strong attention to detail, prioritization, and follow-up skills.
Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks efficiently.
