The role
Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer (“CSO”), the Corporate Strategy Analyst supports the execution of the company’s strategic growth agenda through M&A, partnerships, and investment initiatives. This role is instrumental in conducting market analysis, building financial models, and coordinating cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement strategic opportunities. The successful candidate will act as a trusted support to the CSO and the Corporate Development team, using strategic analysis to drive decision making.
Play a leading role in the end-to-end process for M&A transactions, including target identification, financial modelling, due diligence, deal structuring, and post-merger integration.
Develop and refine corporate growth strategies in collaboration with CSO.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and strategic opportunities.
Valuation and financial analysis including development of financial models.
Preparation of presentations and reports for IPLS management and Board in relation to strategy and M&A projects.
Build and present business cases for investments, partnerships, and acquisitions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, HR, Operations) to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
Track and report on the performance of strategic initiatives, present findings and recommendations providing insights to senior leadership.
Support the development of long-term strategic plans and annual operating plans
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field; ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification is preferred.
3+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, strategy consulting, or private equity.
Proven track record of executing complex M&A transactions and strategic initiatives.
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging C-level stakeholders.
Deep understanding of global markets and cross-border deal dynamics
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization is highly desirable
