The role
As HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing HR operations and ensuring alignment with our organizational goals. You will be responsible for compliance with all employment related legislation and regulation. You will support the implementation of HR strategies that support the business objectives while fostering a culture of engagement and performance. As we have two sites in Germany Schwerin and Monheim ( Bavaria) the expectation will be that you will attend the office in Monheim 3 days of the week.
You will support and be a champion of change initiatives while striving to improve the employee experience. You will be responsible for delivery of initiatives in talent & reward management, employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning. Your understanding of HR metrics and analytics will be vital in making data-driven decisions that enhance productivity and employee satisfaction. You will be influential in supporting employee development programs and succession planning, ensuring that our workforce is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed and advance in their careers.
· Lead and manage daily HR operations to ensure efficient procedures and processes are followed.
· Contribute and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals, legislative and industry regulations.
· Oversee talent acquisition processes, including recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
· Manage employee relations to address concerns, foster a positive work environment, and ensure employee satisfaction.
· Utilize HR metrics and analytics to assess performance and develop data-driven HR strategies.
· Collaborate & support management to develop a robust talent pipeline
· Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
· Act as the primary point of contact for escalated HR issues and challenges; support managers in resolving complex employee relations issues and provide guidance on handling sensitive matters.
· Identify areas for improvement in HR processes, tools, and practices; ensuring alignment with the division
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Professional HR certification such as CIPD, SHRM-CP/SCP, or PHR/SPHR (highly desirable)
Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices
Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM)
5–8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in an HR operations or managerial role
Proven experience in:
HR process design and optimization
Payroll and benefits administration
HR data reporting and analytics
Compliance and audit readiness
Policy development and implementation
Experience managing or supporting HR systems and digital transformation projects
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive operational efficiency
Experience working in multinational or matrixed organizations is a plus
High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee and organizational information
