The role

The position will provide dedicated encoding support for Germany and Spain and contribute to the onboarding of Switzerland, ensuring continuity of master data activities and operational support for these markets. The role will focus on maintaining accurate, timely, and complete master data within the IFS for CEU markets, with specific responsibility for Germany, Spain, and supporting the onboarding of Switzerland. This includes the creation and maintenance of Parts (Purchased, Sales, and Inventory), Part Structures (BOM), Routing, Customers, and Suppliers, covering both initial setup and ongoing lifecycle updates. In addition to data input, your role will involve cleansing existing data, suggesting process improvements, and maintaining the integrity and consistency of our item data. This contributes directly to the efficiency of our supply chain, customer satisfaction, and overall business success. This position requires attention to detail, manufacturing acumen, and the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.

As a Master Data Analyst at IPL you will:

• Provide dedicated master data support for Germany and Poland, ensuring timely processing and adherence to regional requirements

• Support the onboarding of Spain and Switzerland into the central master data function

• Maintain data quality and consistency across CEU markets in line with established standards, naming conventions, and workflows

• Collaborate with local site teams, planning, procurement, and finance to ensure master data accuracy supports core business processes

• Proactively identify and resolve data quality issues, contributing to continuous improvement of encoding processes

• Oversee the encoding process for various data formats within IFS.

• Maintain encoding standards and quality control procedures in adherence with IPL’s policies.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to encoding within IFS.

• Monitor and report on encoding progress and associated metrics.

• Collaborate with technical teams to implement new encoding technologies and workflows within IFS.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

• Accurately set up items, routings, BOMs, customers, suppliers and other IFS inputs as required

• Verify and validate item information to ensure accuracy and completeness in line with data governance policies.

• Ensure consistency and standardization of item codes, descriptions, and other relevant data across IFS

• Conduct regular audits and quality checks to identify and correct discrepancies in item data.

• Provide support to internal teams and external partners regarding item-related inquiries.

• Actively participate in the evaluation of existing item set-up processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

What you will bring to the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field will be an advantage

• High proficiency level in Microsoft Excel required.

• Proficiency in SQL or equivalent for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting is an advantage

• Certification in ERP systems, IFS, or related technologies is a plus.

• Familiarity with data management processes and manufacturing systems is a plus.

• Proven track record of meeting deadlines.
