Job Purpose

To maintain Injection molding machines, dry offset printing equipment and to support auxiliary equipment.

To fully and safely perform duties such as electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical abilities at a Specialist level and to assist in the training of lower level maintenance personnel.

Duties:

▪ Repair and maintenance of injection molding machines ranging from 100-1000 ton size range.

▪ Setup and maintenance of robots used for IML applications and part retrieval systems.

▪ Setup and repair of stacking equipment used in plastic packaging,

▪ Responsible to troubleshoot complex circuits and understand general PLC programming and controls.

▪ Repair and maintenance of auxiliary equipment such as thermolators, blenders and material systems.

▪ Repair and maintenance of dry offset printing machine as needed.

▪ Operation and maintenance of mechanical room equipment supporting the plant operations.

▪ Any other duties assigned.

Duties:

▪ Understanding of plastic processing and how an injection molding machine operates.

▪ Perform maintenance repairs of pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves.

▪ Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics to assist in troubleshooting automated equipment.

▪ Demonstrate knowledge of low voltage control wiring.

▪ Demonstrate knowledge of Electrical 480V 3-phase circuits.

▪ Safely weld utilizing Mig Welding minimum.

▪ Lift, cut and arrange steel materials per drawings or custom fabrication.

▪ Perform repair and maintenance of rail car loading equipment.

▪ Demonstrate ability to use plasma cutting equipment or conventional gas torches.

▪ Demonstrate ability and have a basic knowledge of lathes and mill equipment with the aptitude to learn more complex machining skills.

▪ Demonstrate ability to do basic drill press functions and accurately tap metal threads.

Qualifications:

Must be able to obtain a fork lift license, operate a scissor lift and boom lift.

Must have electrical skills and good mechanical background.

Candidate must display some skills in all areas of maintenance.

Must be able to obtain a fork lift license, operate a scissor lift and boom lift.

Candidates must be able to pass a Post Offer Essential Functions Test (POET) to demonstrate the capability to safely perform the essential functions of the job. Those functions include heavy lifting, working at heights, and working in extreme temperatures.
