The role

Support the Production Supervisor in ensuring the shift is meeting its safety, quality and productivity goals.

As a Shop Floor Lead at IPLS you will:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Primary backup for Production Supervisor

· Verify presses are using correct materials at beginning and throughout shift

· Ensure work instruction and labels are printed for upcoming shop orders

· Work with Material Handler to ensure finished goods scan properly

· Ensure production floor is clean and organized and help minimize excessive supplies on the floor

· Enter scrap data into InTouch

· Enter downtime information into InTouch

· Ensure production data is accurate

· Be a point of contact between production, engineering, maintenance and quality

· Verify changeovers have been completed correctly

· Assist Team Leads and Packers as needed

· Help ensure all team members are working safely

· Help ensure all team members are following all food safety guidelines

· Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager

What you will bring to the role:

· Past experience leading large teams

· Good organization skills

Past experience working in manufacturing

Working Conditions:

The work environment may include noise exposure, require standing for extended periods of time, and lifting/pulling loads of up to 50lbs.
