The role
As Business Process Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing, documenting, and optimising end-to-end global business processes across the organisation. This role supports operational excellence, digital transformation, and process standardization efforts through structured process design, stakeholder engagement and data driven improvement initiatives.
As a Business Process Analyst at IPL you will:
· Process Analysis & Documentation
· Conduct As-Is and To-Be process mapping using BPMN and agreed modelling standards
· Analyse existing workflows, identify inefficiencies and propose improvements
· Develop & maintain process documentation, ensuring updates follow internal governance and version control
· Conduct deep-dive workshops with functional leads to capture current-state processes across
global operations.
· Develop clear, standardised process maps and supporting documentation that serve as the single source of truth for the organisation.
· Maintain the Group Process Repository, ensuring all documentation is version-controlled and
reflects the latest operational standards.
· Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
· Perform root-cause analysis to resolve recurring issues and support reduction of operational waste.
· Standardise processes across business units and regions, ensuring adherence to governance frameworks.
· Engage with process owners, product owners, and cross-functional business teams.
· Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and decision-making forums.
· Support change impact assessments, user readiness, and training activities.
· Support ERP, ITSM, and workflow system enhancements by translating business needs into functional requirements.
· Contribute to UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
· Collaborate with IT and technical teams on integrations, automations, and process intelligence solutions.
· Manage process-related workstreams within wider transformation initiatives.
· Produce training materials, SOPs, and user documentation as required.
Track project progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
What you will bring to the role:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline
Equivalent experience in business analysis or process improvement will be highly advantageous
Master’s degree desirable.
2 to 5 years of experience in business process analysis, operational excellence, continuous improvement, or similar transformation-focused roles.
Experience with ERP, CRM, or ITSM system implementations.
Proven track record delivering measurable process improvements.
Experience working across global/matrix organisations.
