Le 1er juillet 2025, IPL Plastics a fusionné avec Schoeller Allibert pour former IPL Schoeller (la « Société »). Les activités de la Société sont réparties entre l’Amérique du Nord (11 usines de fabrication) et l’Europe (16 usines de fabrication).

Le siège social de l’entreprise est situé à Dublin, en Irlande. IPL Schoeller est un chef de file dans la fabrication de solutions d’emballage rigide durables, desservant divers segments de marché, notamment les emballages de transport réutilisables, les emballages de consommation et industriels, les contenants environnementaux ainsi que les emballages agricoles. L’entreprise emploie environ 4 100 personnes, dont 1 600 en Amérique du Nord et 2 500 en Europe.

EMPLOI ÉTUDIANT – Ingénierie

Sous la supervision du Directeur des opérations, l’étudiant(e) ingénierie aura pour mandat principal de soutenir l’usine dans divers projets d’analyse, d’optimisation et d’amélioration continue. Son rôle sera essentiel pour appuyer les équipes durant la période estivale et pour contribuer à des initiatives stratégiques visant l’efficacité opérationnelle.

Principales responsabilités

• Réaliser des analyses de temps détaillées par poste de travail afin de mesurer précisément les cycles, identifier les inefficiences et documenter les écarts;

• Concevoir et analyser des scénarios « what‑if » afin de tester différentes configurations opérationnelles et optimiser la productivité globale;

• Soutenir les gestionnaires durant la période estivale pour limiter les pertes de productivité liées aux vacances et assurer la continuité des opérations;

• Participer à divers projets d’ingénierie, notamment en optimisation des procédés, en efficacité opérationnelle, en robotique et en machinerie;

• Contribuer à des projets en santé et sécurité.

Profil recherché

• Avoir débuté un baccalauréat ou une technique en ingénierie;

• Bonne connaissance des logiciels Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.);

• Le bilinguisme est un atout;

• Faire preuve de débrouillardise, d’autonomie et d’un bon sens de l’analyse;

• Capacité d’adaptation, disponibilité et flexibilité.

Conditions d’emploi

• Poste étudiant(e) à temps plein, saisonnier.

• Horaire de 35 heures par semaine (du lundi au vendredi).

STUDENT POSITION – Engineering

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Engineering Student will primarily be responsible for supporting the plant in various analysis, optimization, and continuous improvement projects. This role will be essential in supporting teams during the summer period and contributing to strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed time studies by workstation to accurately measure cycle times, identify inefficiencies, and document gaps.

• Design and analyze what‑if scenarios to test different operational configurations and optimize overall productivity.

• Support managers during the summer period to minimize productivity losses related to vacations and ensure continuity of operations.

• Participate in various engineering projects, including process optimization, operational efficiency, robotics, and machinery.

• Contribute to health and safety projects.

Candidate Profile

• Has started a Bachelor’s degree or a technical diploma in Engineering;

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.);

• Bilingualism is an asset;

• Resourceful, autonomous, and demonstrates strong analytical skills;

• Adaptability, availability, and flexibility.

Employment Conditions

• Full-time, seasonal student position

• Schedule of 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
